Some new developments:Adam did NOT remove the files from either server. He had no idea they were up before they were removed. The basis for the original conflict is null and void.The reason the files were removed is because Rick, inadvertantly, uploaded copies of the readme in which he had written some rather nasty things about Adam (for removing the original paints after the proper protocol was not followed). I'll take his word for it when he says it was unintentional. I believe in second chances. Even an arse like me can be fair.I won't post what was written, but I will say that I will smooth the issue over tomorrow. Hopefully we can all get back to where we were. Either way, I can't win and I'll look like the bad guy either way, so at this point I'm just trying to make things easier on everyone else.

Well i know I said I was not going to say anything more on this but i have to respond to this last post by Capt Static. Sir you need to read the whole thread. I have allready appologised for the whole thing. And to Avsim, i have appologised for posting this in here. So your comments are pointless and unneeded. But again , lest more people decide to comment on this issue. I AM SORRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I want to say Rick is that you've made a fantastic contribution to the community. Whether it's the chicken or the egg that comes first, repainters can make or break a project and your repaints have sometimes been the only reason I've been interested in a project. Rather than leave the forums over this, or pick a fight with Eric and Adam, perhaps the three of you could enlist Avsim in offering a means to update license info without having to delete the whole dang package. Something akin to saying to the library manager "Please update these zips with this license.txt" BTW, I remember when you released the NG package, and it WAS months ago. I was puzzled as to why it vanished--I didn't know the detail behind it.Anyway, I am trying not to take sides here, but perhaps Avsim can assist as I suggest above. This is a pretty rare circumstance, but allowing authors to send updates to licensing info certainly soaks up less bandwidth and time vs. uploading and review of an entire package.-John
