Engines off or on at start

Featured Replies

I have had cold start set for some time. How do I change it back so when I start a flight all power is on and the engine is running (the original default).

I believe if you go to the top left menu bar and when you drop it down there is a restart button or something similar to that and if you click onto that it will restart your engines.I am at work so I do not have the FS2002 program on my screen, it may not say restart, but it will be similar.Good luckKenny G.

The easiest way is to set up a flight you like with the engines running etc. and then save it, ticking the "default" button. The "original default" cessna at Meigs is probably still in your flight list, under "Other", so you could load this and set it to default. This default flight is actually a good one to choose and avoids the unexpected problms that sometimes occur when you use a more complicated plane for your default start-up.
