I've installed ActiveSky 1.4.I've followed the setting instruction about fsuipc (ver 2.9.0.1)Very often fs2k2 seems work non properly, the frame rate seems fall down, specially in a spot plane view.Anyone can help me?I'm not the only sim pilot with this problem. My PC configuration is:P IV 1.7 GB512 MB rimmHD SCSI Ultra 160 Mbit/secVideo Card Hercules (ATI) 9700 pro 128 MbWin 2KMany thanksFabrizio IVAO AZA1134

First, ActiveSky is a fantastic add-on !! But yes, I'm also having the same frame rate issue and an unusual sttutering when using AS 1.4 . Hope someone can suggest ideas! Previous versions seems to me more fluid and less CPU demanding.Regards,GabrielPIV, 1.6, 512Ram, TNT2M64,etc,....

FSUIPC is up to version 2.92. Download and install, make sure you either delete your FSUIPC.ini file or hit the default button on the General page after each new update.Weather will cause your FPS to decrease due to the processing of cloud, rain, etc.

Hi, also try turning off "update on new station". This option is good when there aren't too many METAR stations around but when there are lots, the program will switch and download often, which could cause system overhead. Without UPDATE ON NEW STATION it sticks to the download interval values and is more forgiving!-Damian
