October 26, 200223 yr hi alljust wanted to know if i can use the above video card and be able to use it to capture video from a sony handycam camcorder, thx
October 26, 200223 yr All the items you listed in your subject are outputs. Therefore, if you use the TVout to your camcorder TVin then you can use it.If you were trying to record something using the camcorder, you cannot use these outputs as inputs. Therefore, NO! Bill Sieffert
October 26, 200223 yr Hi there. Is your camcorder Mini DV by chance? The best thing for you to get is a Firewire card. New motherboards even has this onboard now also. Then you can with a firewire cable connect your camera to your computer and using a Destkop video editing software package you can capture your videos and edit it and then record it back to your camcorder again. October 26, 200223 yr Stay away from the GeForce 4 MX series of cards. They're basically overclocked GeForce 2's, as their based on GeForce 2 technology. I recommend you get a GeForce 4 Ti4200 with VIVO (and DVI is nice as well), and you'll be more than happy with it.Ryan-Flightpro08 :-cool VATSIM Pilot/ControllerZLA ARTCC Senior Controller (C-3)SAN TRACON Lead [link:www.taxiwaysigns.com|Taxiwaysigns.com] Scenery Designer-----------------------------My "Home Made" System Specs:Intel Pentium 4 2.2GHz ProcessorTurbo Gamer ATX Mid-Tower with 420W Power SupplyEPoX 4G4A Motherboard with Intel 845G ChipsetVisiontek XTASY GeForce4 128MB Ti4600 (Det 41.03 Drivers)512MB PC2100 DDR RAM40GB Matrox 7200RPM Hard DriveWindows XP Home Edition SP1*No CPU or GPU Overclocking*3dMark2001SE Score: 11298-----------------------------Click [link:ftp.avsim.com/library/esearch.php?DLID=&Name=&FileName=&Author=Ryan+Fretwell&CatID=Root]Here to Download my New American Eagle POSKY CRJ-200!
