October 31, 200223 yr Quick question your new clouds: Does the utility have a random setting where the cloud pack that is displayed at a particular point is based on the weather settings in FS? For example can I set the cloud type to random and then download real weather - would I see different cloud packs that correspond to the changes in weather as I fly? Thanks!!
October 31, 200223 yr Commercial Member I'm interested to hear this as well... I installed FSSW SE last night and I'm very confused as to how this whole concept of installing packs etc is supposed to work. Am I right in understanding that you can only have one type of cloud in FS at a given time? Like if I pick cumulus in FSSW SE and load the sim, it'll show cumulus even if I set weather to CB or cirrus etc? Am I supposed to set it up somehow to install new packs as I'm flying so that the clouds change? This whole idea seems really confusing to me.Can someone post a step by step method to getting those awesome clouds seen in the screens - I tried installing random in the FSSW launcher and then loading up some CB in the sim, but all I saw was a flat gray above me etc...Also what's the procedure for getting this to work right with FSMeteo? Thanks,Ryan Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
October 31, 200223 yr Author Commercial Member Hi, "Like if I pick cumulus in FSSW SE and load the sim, it'll show cumulus even if I set weather to CB or cirrus etc?"No, Fs sky world will never disable clouds formation, if there is cumulus in fs2k2, you will see cumulus, if there is cirrus in fs2k2, you will see cirrus etc. When you install the clouds you will se different clouds name.Auto install works great with 3rd party generator, read the readme.ThanksChris Willis[link:fsw.simflight.com/FSWMenuFsSim.html]Clouds And Addons For MsFshttp://fsw.simflight.com/fsw.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
