A first flight in Digital Aviation's Cheyenne...

Peter Mcleland has posted here for years, contributing a LOT of information and sharing his talent in regards to scenery design and .air file tweaking. He is a very experienced former real-world RAF combat pilot with a wealth of knowledge to share. I personally think AVSIM owes him an apology. Keep in mind Avsim editors, individuals like Peter are an asset to your website. If you mistreat talented people that interact with your users here, there are competing websites that will be more than happy to accomodate.

For what it's worth... The rules are always being adjusted (sharpened) on a ad-hoc basis. I don't think that we need another discussion on "why does it have to be this or that size or measurement", but I do feel that the way it is done is somewhat... how shall I put it... hostile?I really can't think of a reason why Peter's sig (nice and clean, doesn't call for irritation or long loading times) is an "outlaw sig" while some other "textual sigs" are the worst I've ever seen. I mean c'mon, is it really necessary to have a sig with a "million" lines of text like mashine specs? Now that's somewhat irritating. These sigs are sometimes longer and bigger than the actual posting. Why don't you have a rule for that????Also, some sigs exsist longer than any rule on this forum. It has become the trademark, recognition and respect mark of the poster. Why can't people leave nice, small and clean sig alone?
