can any one tell me that trick where you can change something to make the marker sounds all ways go off in fs2002? thankshttp://events8.tripod.com/pilot_tag.JPG

Anthony,I am assuming that by "go off all the time" you mean you want them to beep when a marker is reached. I've been flying the B58 for some time now and can't remember all the other planes but up at the top of the radio stack there is a row of switches marked "comm1" "comm2" "nav1" etc. There is also one "MKR", turn it on and you'll have the marker sound. Bare in mind that all airports with ILS' do not have markers.

1. Switch to any plane that has the radio switch panel and switch the MKR light on.2. Switch to any plane you would like to have on startup.3. Go to any airport/gate you would like FS to start up at upon startup.4. Now go to Flight/Save Flight, give it a name (like My Default Flight), click the Default checkbox, and say OK.Now the marker sound will always be set to on when you start FS.Hope this helps,-- Tom GibsonCalifornia Classic Propliners: http://www.calclassic.com/Cal Classic Alco Page: http://www.calclassic.com/alco/Freeflight Design Shop: http://www.freeflightdesign.com/ San Diego Model RR Museum: http://www.sdmodelrailroadm.com/Drop by! ___x_x_(")_x_x___

Anthony,There is an easier way..This comes from a FS2k2 tip from some time ago, but they seem to get lost by they wayside as time goes by.Open 'FS2002' folderOpen 'flights' folderOpen 'other' folder Take the 'flightsim.flt' file and drag it into notepad. Find the section named 'avionics'. Find the line named AudioMarkerListen=0 Change it to AudioMarkerListen=1SaveExitThat's it..All of your planes that are equipped to display markers will now hear them also, if applicable. Sound is not included at all airport markers, but most of the major ones have it.Cheers...enjoy,Bob
