Some of the things to consider when partitioning a hardrive are the operating system and the partition sizes.If you are using Win98 then your choice will be FAT. If you are using WinXP then your choice can be FAT or NTFS. If you are using a dual boot Win9X/WinXP, then you may use all FAT or a combination of FAT/NTFS.If you are going to use FAT (FAT32), I recommend you don't have a partition larger than 10-11GB. The larger the partition size, the bigger the cluster size, the more waste of space when small files are saved.
