and, beign a non techie, would I just go to a computer specialty shop and have them put it together, like buying a component stereo rig...btw, while I'm still running a nearly 2 year old 1gig mobo, I am using floor standing Wharfdale 70 speakers...they used to the be speakers from my old "hi fi" setup when I was married almost 41 years ago... I never could bear to get rid of them, even when I bought new and better Kef Q40 speakers..The Wharfies tend to be a bit boomy, but that's perfect for aircraft engine noise...love the rumbles from the Connies and the DC3...too bad my wife gets a little troubled everytime I try to turn them up to airfield levels...:-)Sherm

Sherm, Depending on your location you may be able to walk in to a specialty shop and have them put it together but I can tell you that it will probably run you an arm and a leg. There are also a multitude of system vendors who could put a mchine similiar to mine together for you.BobbyP.S. My rear channels on my home theatre system are a pair of Wharfdale Mach7's w AR610 for the fronts.

Dell's refurbished computer store is a great place to pick up high powered machines at a good discount - attractive to me who doesn't really have the time to research mother boards, chip setst etc.

Due to a promotion at work my wife was in need of a newer updated machine to be used from home for work. We decided that the best thing for both of us was for her to take over my machine and for me to build myself a new one!. The pics below are the result of a week worth of waiting and painting. Wow, that case looks awesome LOL. Whats inside the case is more awesome, thats a REAL nice system. Looks like the ultimate gaming computer. I bet FS2002 is smoooooth LOL. Makes my computer look so outdated compared to that LOL. My comp runs FS2002 better than most people expect for the class my computer is in, but your box will run circles around mine LOL.Well I guess I will chip in with a pic, not often I get to do this sort of thing. You will notice my messy desk and the dot matrix printer on the top right. Nothing too special about the rest though, thought it would be interesting to see a older comp in this thread :-lol .
