Video card- question before I lash out and buy....

Featured Replies

I have a P4 1.8G CPU, 1G of PC2100 DDR RAM. Currently I have a GE3 Ti200 card which I'm looking to replace. What's the latest on nVidia vs ATI regarding a good card? I'd like to go to 128MB of video card RAM too. Looking for a good card that FS2k4 will look good on. Any recommendations? My mobo is limited to 4* AGP, I believe (ABit BD7II). Thanks,Bruce.

I just asked the same question. I went and purchased the Radeon 9700 and all I can say is WOW. It is like a new flight simulator, graphics are much more crisp and fast. I now can see shadows, waves are clearer, and most importantly, no blurries!Blue skiesKevin

Kevin; I remember when I bought my Alienware equipped with the 9700 Pro last September. At or about the same time, I'd upgraded from a dialup to a cable modem. I got two WOWs at the same time. Have you tried flying a fighter on the deck at Mach1+ yet? It's Awesome!!!!!!!
