June 23, 200322 yr Could someone explain what 6X FSAA means!! I also have the Radeon 9700 but it says 'TX' and not 'PRO' on it. Does anyone know what the 'TX' means ??Regards,jack noullet
June 25, 200322 yr I must admit, I just got a 9800 Pro for my new 3.0ghz Intel 875p motherboard and so far I am severely dissapointed at it's FS2002 performance. It runs Forgotten Battles great, but I can't get FS2002 to run worth a lick in any settings. Yes, I uninstalled the Nvidia drivers, reinstalled the ATi drivers including the new 3.5 Catalyst, and it still stutters with the ocassional "blue screen lock-up!" I know many of you all are getting your ATI cards to mesh with FS2002, so before I give up and exchange it for a new nVidia please throw some tips my way - I can't take this much longer! ($400 video card and it's damn near less performance than my previous GeForce2 Ultra 64mb and P4 2.0ghz system?! ARGH!!!!!!!!!)
June 25, 200322 yr XP pro, I think it's working a little better now, but if I have an 8X AGP card and motherboard, are you suggesting that FS2002 just doesn't know how to make use of that extra potential?
