July 13, 200322 yr I would to know if there is someome using a nvidia Geforce 4 Titanium Series 4200 in FS2002. If so what setting you are using in FS and what settings you use in the card. Iam running drivers 4410P4 2.00ram 768dx 9hd 40Thankd JerBear
July 13, 200322 yr I just picked up a 4200 and installed it Friday evening. I find I prefer the 30.82 drivers over the 4x.xx series, with the Rivatuner negative LOD patch applied. With that patch, I get outstanding visuals/performance with these settings:2X AnisoLOD -.52X AAIn FS, I'm running with AA, Trilinear Filtering, and Hardware T&L enabled at an 800x600x32 res (better performance, and the menus are easier on my eyes)...
July 13, 200322 yr I got a Ti 4200, I am using the 43.00 drivers, I have2x AALOD -.5Aggressive OptimizationI get around 12-13 FPS with the POSKY 747. I run my FS at 1280x1024x32, I noticed no pefromance difference running at a different resolutions and the highest looks the best for me. I got the same stuff as John, but no AA in FS, makes no different on my system.
July 17, 200322 yr Using 43.51 drivers, 1280x960x32, 2xAA on P4 2.3Upgraded from 30.82 driversBetter graphics, very smooth performance.AA forced in the adapter settings, unchecked in FS. Bert
July 18, 200322 yr Hi JohnCi or others...:)Stupid question but I have currently a Club 3d GForce TI4200 128 MB Video card with 40.72 drivers installed. I want however try the 30.82 drivers. I tried to install it but my system was not happy with it (white screen) and I had to execute the system restore. Is there a way to install these drivers safely or someone point me to a guide how to do this in a safe manner....Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif
July 18, 200322 yr Did you uninstall the previous drivers, then use Det. Destroyer to clean up the bits 'n pieces? I've had good success uninstalling (with no reboot)... DD'ing (for Det. Destroyering), then a reboot, then reloading the drivers.
July 19, 200322 yr If you are running XP, simply uninstall the drivers from the display driver properties page. Re-boot and decline to install a new driver. Then, from Adapter/Properties/Driver in the Control Panel/Display pages, select the file folder where you have the 30.82 drivers and select install.Under Win98, it is better to install a standard VGA driver in between.
