January 20, 200422 yr I am thinking about getting some GoFlight hardware. I don't want to spend a fortune (lets say under $200) and I don't know where to start. I have a CH Yoke and Rudders and fly primarily commercial but I also enjoy GA flights. I would love to get CPFlight's 737 MCP but given the cost and the terrible US exchange rate that is out of the question.ThanksBlue SkiesKevinhttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/58733.jpg -.- . ...- .. -. January 20, 200422 yr Moderator Kevin,GoFlight is modular so you can add components as funds allow. Unfortunately costs can be high at first as you have to buy a rack - either the desktop mini (4" vertical space); standard rack(14" vertical) or the monster floor-standing which takes up most of your budget so that one is probably out of the question.I have the standard rack with 2xGF166, 2xGF-P8, GF-T8 and GF-LGT. If you want to use the modules to handle radio comms (COM1/2, NAV1/2, ADF, Xpndr) then start with one GF166 and the rack of your choice. On the subject of the MCP be careful as it cannot handle non-standard FS aircraft such as the PMDG737 and 767PIC. It's also very expensive.Cheers, Ray (Cheshire, England).
