The best is not good enough?

Hello Guys!I noticed that there are very competent people in this forum so maybe you can help me a bit. :-)When my old AMD XP2600+ got too slow for FS9 and more complex add'ons I finally bought a set of completly new hardware. I wanted to buy only the newest and best, so I build the config myself. This is what a have now:Intel 865PERL board with 800mhz FSB1 GB 400mhz dualchannel ramP4 3.2ghz 800mhz FSBSapphire Radeon 9800XT 256mb60GB HDD (2 partitions)4 led fans and a boxed CPU cooler (thinking of a watercooling)Logitech Soundblaster 5.1 live digital with sourround speakers and woofer.DVD drive and CD-RW from my old pc 400W power supplyAfter setting up Windows XP, newest Intel, Catalyst and soundcard drivers, I installed FS9. Everything seems to go well and the framerates were high (with standard aircraft to 100fps with slider unlimited and the stettings on the right.)But there is one thing that i noticed. When you roll on the runway or look to the right onto the scenery, specialy with more complex aircraft, the scenery moves not flowing. Thats hard to describe. Its like a jerky changing framerate sometimes. When i fly the captainsim 727 and i pull the joke back. The horizon moves normaly down until it suddenly turns down in a jerk movement. The effect shows also very clear when taxing on ground. This is not beautiful. :-)I tried many settings in the ATI 3d tab already but I can't get it perfectly done. The rage 3d tweaker wich I also downloaded has so many functions that its unpossible for me to find out what is right for fs.I even tried to contact ATI's custumer support, wich is a insolence. The only thing i got back was a standard mail with links to the homepage of them, although i told them that there's nothing on their site. For 550

Hi Manuel, try limiting the frame rates, at unlimited FS appears to give priority to loading scenery etc, rather than running the actual simulation. I would try somewhere in the region of 30fps (the computer that can handle FS and complex add-ons at constant high rates hasn't been invented yet ;)).Cheers,Gosta.http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2betateam.jpg

Thx for the answer!I tried around the whole afternoon, insalled the omega driver drivers (wich are far better then the normal catalyst) and limited the framerate at 40.After the fresh driver intallation everthing seemed to work fine. But the more settings I tested, the worser it got. *gg* I will set everthing back to standard now, but all in all it turned much better so far.Thank you again for your suggestion.ManuelThinking of cooling my system with liquid nitrogen and overclock to 5.ghz :-))

Turn down the frame rates to maybe 20 and work your way up in increments of +3 or +5
