December 25, 200619 yr You can use the affinity setting in task manager to set those programs to run on one core and fs9 to run on the other, so its almost like having a dedicated fs9 core, but I have done this and dont really see any change in fps at all.

I noticed that leaving my virus scanner on now doesn't bother FS at all...its threads automatically get sent to the second core when FS is running.The biggest gain from a Core 2 Duo CPU has nothgin to do with the number of cores, though.
