Hi Davis, I reset my DIMMS to the dual setting as you suggest and everything now works fine:-) No more re-boots, thank you for your patience. The extra memory is actually noticeable in FS9 so I'm very pleased. All I have to do now is brace myself to change the CPU. I bought a XP3200+ Barton core CPU as you suggested. I have the big fan and NVIDIA heat sink etc. I also got another mother board with it. An "Asus A7N8X-E Delux". "NVIDIA nForce2 Ultra 400". At the moment I'm reading the literature trying to decide if this motherboard is better than my current one (MSI K7N2 Delta).In any event I'll let you knoew how I get on.
