I just downloaded the newest revision of the Heli-Link livery Dauphin, and did exactly what the short read-me file said to do, but no sound except the gear going up & down. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong? All the new .wav files appear to be in the folder..Scott

I'll second that! The problem seems to be in the sound.cfg where sounds were not identified for each section. I think there's an update on this site as of today. I hate to say it, but I've reverted to version1 of Antti's beautiful machine. I just cant seem to sort these new ones. Still, I love vsn 1 & will be flying it for a long time to come!Happy landingsLonelyplanetXO

Yup the latest ( today) update has the sound.

Please provide the file name, since I searched for ******* Hernandez's name and only found five files, the three I listed for AS365 and two for the B206.I have tried all three without success. I even download the as365_v1.2__sound_system_updated!.zip again to see if a newer version was uploaded after I had downloaded. It still has blank filename= in many of the sections.It funny that a lot people are having problems with setting up the aerodynamics for this helicopter. I just let it self-install and took off. Except, for sound of course!

Well, I'll just go sit in the corner now and be a good helicopter driver.I removed the download as365hl.zip and installed Antti Pankkonen/******* Hernandez file as365_v1.2__sound_system_updated!.zip and the sound works. I don't know how yet, but it does!!I humbly accept my rotorblade smacks!!!I haven't try the autopilot and other features yet, but flying the basic aircraft was a joy!One thing I did notice in the VC was the rotorblades didn't seem to move. I had a blade stuck on my windscreen. Any solution to that?

Since the rotor blades move in the original download, I reinstalled the original as365hl.zip. I renamed the as365_v1.2__sound_system_updated!.zip as as365v1 so the original installation installed without overwriting the updated file. Had to reload the updated Trimble GPS, however (I hate autoinstallers!:-mad ).If I loaded the updated helicopter, the VC rotorblade would not rotate. If I selected the original, let it stabilize, then reselect the updated helicopter, the VC rotorblade rotated.I was also able to get the sounds used in the updated helicopter with the Bond Helicopter. However, it now has the stuck VC rotorblade. Again the only trick is to cycle the original and back.If anyone knows how to fix, the stuck VC rotorblade other than how I am doing it, I would appreciate the fix. I noticed each model has a different size or date *.mdl file.

I've had problems with my joystick (Saitek Cyborg Gold) not working on the new version (nothing responded) so I went back to version 1 which works fine except that pan_view and snap_view doesn't work. I hate to say but this one d/l has given me the most trouble of any other. Still it's worth it because of the fine chopper it is.

I downloaded the latest version 20 minutes after I left my first post, and EVERYTHING it working fine now! I replaced the 'outside' sound in the audio pack that came with it with the xhe4.wav from a previous sound pack release, and the unit is just they way I want it...Scott
