TOPPS - EMJAY?

Recommended Posts

Hi,I am planning a flight from EHAM to KMIA but I am not sure about the TOPPS - EMJAY part. In North American Routes (NAR) for North Atlantic Traffic (24 april 1998) I read that one may fly direct from TOPPS to EMJAY... However, on Jeppesens USA High Altitude enroute charts (8), I see several airways over there... Is the NAR document still valid? This is what I see as an altearnative route, if using the static NATC track:Fl320 BERGI UB5 ELDIN UL602 DOGGA UY70 OTR UL975 DUB UN636 BURAK/M081FL370 NATC YAY J580 YQY J575 YQI J585 ACK J62 RIFLE J174 DIW DCT METTA AR1 HEATTAny help would be appreciated.KiekEHAM

I think the NAR document is still valid: Each time I compare it to a real f/p I see no difference.Here's quite recent example where you fly direct from TAFFY to EMJAY (a 507 NM leg):FLIGHT AF090/21JAN Track C (via 60N) 4322NM(FPL-AFR090-IS-B744/H-SIRWXY/S-LFPG0955-N0489F260 AMOGA UT225 VESAN UL613 SOVAT/N0490F320 UL613DET/N0484F340 UB4 LESTA UP6 DUNLO/M085F340 UN570 GOMUP/M085F340 NATC60N040W/M085F350 NATC PORGY/N0497F370 NATC HO/N0495F350 N284BTAFFY/N0494F390 DCT EMJAY J174 DIW AR14 METTA AR1 HOBBE HEATT5-KMIA0945 KFLL-EET/EGTT0019 EGPX0102 EISN0111 EGPX0113 EGGX0128 59N020W0210CZQX0247 60N040W0324 58N050W0405 CZQM0441 CZUL0530 CZQM0559 CZUL0603KZBW0608 REG/FGITB DOF/020121)C GOMUP 59/20 60/30 60/40 58/50 PORGY HO EAST LVLS NIL WEST LVLS 310 320 330 340 350 360 370 380 390 EUR RTS WEST NIL NAR N284B N292C N294C N298H N302C N304E N306C N308E-Yohann, LFLL.

Hi Yohann,Thank you for your example. I'll try a direct routing to EMJAY and see what happens.By the way, where do you get these real world flightplans? KiekEHAM

>By the way, where do you get these real world flightplans? I have access to AF internal network at work: It can display IFR f/p as known by eurocontrol. But I have no access to Octave flightplanner, and cannot generate customs f/p... :-( Yohann
