January 18, 200323 yr I believe you too... Here's a little guessing game... Are these shots from an authentic ANZ flightplan or not, and why??? Whoever get's the answer gets a gold star!Regards,Phil Geddes
January 18, 200323 yr Well what can I say....? Does British Airways have a waiver with every single one of the administrations to convert from metric units and file it with their ICAO flight plan? I've seen many companies convert the altitudes in the route summaries just too make it easier for the pilots, but never in the ICAO flight plan. To my knowledge I thought this was fairly standardized. Attached is another British Airways flight plan making use of the same method. Also attached is a flight plan generated by the same software, using different formats and customs of course. Can someone enlighten me, I beleived that the ICAO format used by many countries was standardized.
January 18, 200323 yr Hi obk,Tom has prooved that he typed over the last pages of the BA flightplans, so I believe him and I'm not trying to offend him in any way. :) It just seemed strange to me that the pilot's flightplan could differ from the ATC flightplan (e.g. the metric levels)...Kind regards,Koen
