Are you sure these are real world routes? When I look at the london - moscow route, the altitudes are given in feet in the russian airspace, instead of metres. Hi Muppet,I've also some questions about the plans you've posted...My dad was on BAW442 a few weeks ago and the filed cruise altitude was FL230 for the whole flight... Thereby, the return should be BAW443 with a STD of 2015 iso 2010. :)Regards,Koen

The plan filed with ATC will be somewhat different but these plans are taken from the last page of a BA flightplan. The flightplanner program that BA use doesn't 'know' about metric airspace, hence the irregularities.Tocart provided you with the plan that ATC recieve for the flight, this is the bit that the pilots recieve.:-)

Hi KoenMaybe he was flying in a scarebus? I have 757 & 767 plans for EGLL - EHAM and both are filed at 270. Maybe if it was a 767 (as BA442/443 often is) then it may have been very heavy on the day your dad flew? The est ZFW for both flights was around 105t, therefore very light for a 767!The STD for BA443 is correct according to the FP, I just checked. The plan is dated 10th Jan, for a 767 G-BZHC.Take care :-)

I suppose they had a reason for that flightlevel then :) And about the STD, perhaps British Airways has 2010 in their flightplanning system, but the EHAM slot system says 2015... EGLL-EDDF over holland? that's a newy...i've never heard that routeing before... normally they go via dover over our country to endup at epino... wer even have special instructions for it...(a/c reach boundary at or below FL240, preferred at FL240)

British Airways uses multi-million dollar flight planning software. I really don't believe their software would be approved if it were not aware that in certain airspace different regulations apply. In my opinion these routes don't look like they were flight planned by BA.The routing tocart provided was taken from an ICAO flight plan and is included on the flight plan the pilots recieve.Best Regards,

RyanMy dad flies 757/767's for BA and what I've typed up is the back page of each flightplan that he brings home for me.So, the flights WERE planned by BA.BA pilots receive only what I've typed out out in terms of the route, I just asked my father now to check.BA outputs shorthaul flightplans in SWORD format and the software does not know about metric airspace, once again I just checked.Thank youI will try and get a digital camera image of one of the plans for you.

I'm afriad I have to jump in here. Tom has spent his time typing up these flightplans, yet all your bothered about is the integrity of them? What's going on here. His dad flies for BA, he was given these plans, they are genuine, why can'to you beleive him?Anyway, as it happens, I am good friends with Tom and he has sent me a few of the plans that his dad sometimes brings home from the "office". (Just to clarfy, this is the flight deck of a BA 767/757) and I find it necessary to take some shots of the plans to show that they are GENUINE.I haven't got a Russia one, but here we go, some shots of the back page of the flightplans (note, these are outdated, hence that's why he gave me them! ;) The routings won't be the same as above):

RynoHere we are the actual UUEE - EGLL FP, albeit in VERY bad quality. I've circled the 'N0462F350' bit at the start of the program to prove that BA's planner planned the flight at F350 even though they would be flying in metres at that point.So now there is no doubt I hope that BA planned everything that I posted?

I've seen their paper plans for flights through both Chinese and Russian airspace, and they don't have the metric levels in them. So I believe you. :-)Graham
