September 21, 200322 yr I would like to fly KMIA-LEMD and while working out the flight planrealised that the NATS took me too far North. So in the end I workedout this Flight Plan:MIAMI7.PADUS ZFP PRISS R512 BDA 3656N 3947N 4233N 4322N RETEN UP48 STG UN733 ZMR.ZMR1DJust wondered if this route is valid or if there are perhaps someother established Tracks for this route. Much obliged for any help. September 21, 200322 yr Hi,If you change UP48 in your flightplan to UM430, you'll get a route that's valid according to Eurocontrol. :)But please keep in mind that you have a very small change getting oceanic clearance with the coordinates in your route, because usually aircraft operators have to file a random oceanic route using points that lie 10 degrees of longitude apart of eachother, starting at the first oceanic 'random' point (e.g. 36N060W 39N050W 42N030W 43N020W).To show you a real world route from KMIA to LEMD, here's todays route of Iberia (flown with a B742):DCT SKIPS DCT EXTER B646 DEENO DCT NUMBR DCT 33N060W 34N050W 35N040W 37N030W 39N020W DCT ERPES UZ25 DIRMA UM191 BARDI UW103 TLD TLD2BKind regards,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
