The KSAN-KLAS flight plan as listed:PEBLE3 SXC DCT LAX DCT DAG SKEBR2shows catalina (SXC) as a waypoint. Having flown from San to LAS many times, I know we never fly to SXC, but probably SLI or direct to LAX. Any explanation?? Would the plan be changed to direct in flight? Are there many flight plans for this same route, such that I just have never been on the one that goes to Catalina?Thanks for any help,TJ

Hi TJ,I just checked the last 25 SWA-flightplans from KSAN to KLAS, of which the route PEBLE3 SXC DCT LAX DCT DAG SKEBR2 is filed 24 times.The alternative flightplan for the route (shown once) is LNSAY2 FALCC DCT SLI DCT POM DCT DAG SKEBR2, probably the route you mentioned, but this one is not filed by SWA very often.So I think usually the ATC will give a direct to SLI or LAX instead of SXC, becuase the route via SLI/LAX is shorter (but busier with traffic usually). :)Kind regards,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg
