PMDG 737 Parking Brake won't arm...
toothjockey replied to toothjockey's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Success!! Just in case anyone else has this problem: I had to decrease my extremity deadzone to -30 on toe brakes to achieve full deflection. This change made the difference and the parking brakes would engage. -
PMDG 737 Parking Brake won't arm...
toothjockey replied to toothjockey's topic in PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu
Doesn't make a difference. I have released toe brakes before releasing parking brake command and after. If I hold the parking brake command for a few seconds the red light will come on and the brake lever will vibrate and make a clicking sound, but won't stay engaged. Red light goes out and parking brake lever releases when I stop using the parking brake command. Very frustrating... -
I've read most of the posts and watched the videos. I have calibrated my brakes. I have applied full left and right brake, then the Parking Brake. But all that happens is the parking brake lever moves and the red light comes on momentarily until I let go of the parking brake command. Very frustrating. Any help?? Thanks, Don Maxwell

Thank you LRBS, MFG is emphatic that you shouldn't use the windows calibration. I had tried all solutions I could think of. So I tried the windows calibration. Lo and behold! I finally got the rudder to center! Then I went back into MSFS controls and adjusted sensitivity. Thanks so much for your input. Don

I have calibrated with MFG 2.17 in auto & manual. Rudder goes through full range from left to right, but stays full right at center (no input). MSFS set to Modern not Legacy. All conflicting bindings from other controllers have been checked and eliminated. Same problem with different aircraft. (Cessna 172 & PMDG 737) As an aside, I am able to get rudder to behave normally when programmed with Spad.Next. (want to use MSFS sensitivity settings though) Any suggestions? Why do the US registered lieveries have 6 digits after the N number? Specifically, N47332A, N47332B, N47332C. I thought you could only have 5. Thanks

757 v2 Reverse Thrust
toothjockey replied to toothjockey's topic in The X-Plane General Discussions Forum
no, don't have separate controls for each engine. Both of my problems (nosewheel steering and only one thrust reverser working) have been solved with the latest update from ff, that is ver 2.0.23. I don't know if it was the update or if it was uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft, but all is good now. Thanks -

757 v2 Reverse Thrust

When I use the "shift /" toggle, I only get the right engine showing thrust reverse, not the left. It is probably a combination of pb15 and FF not playing well together. Does your nosewheel move with rudder pedal movement? I think this is also a pb15 problem. -
757 v2 Reverse Thrust

Even though Flight Factor says "pb15 has an issue with reverse" , I notice that I get both engines to thrust reverse with both the IXEG 733, and the default 737 800. Looks more like a FF problem to me. I wouldn't judge, but FF has stated the 757 is 11 compatible. -

I have tried all the avilable reverser choices I think. Are there aircraft with 8 engines? :) Oh yea, the spruce goose had 8. Thanks -

FWIW, I heard back from Flight Factor support in re this question. Their response: pb15 has an issue with reverse Your FlightFactor Helpdesk Team, So, I guess I will submit a bug notification to LR. :) -
I'm using the FF 757 v2 on x-plane 11. I have assigned the reverse thrust to a button on my saitek throttle, using "hold throttle reverse at max". I am only getting the right engine to reverse. Any ideas out there?? I don't understand all the thrust reverse #1-8 choices. Thanks
