September 6, 200520 yr I've downloaded the freeware EUroute and got a flight plan for Heathrow (EGLL) to Dublin (EIDW):CPT UL9 BASET BASET UL9 STU UM17 DUB UL18 TOLKAThere seems to be a bug in that BASET is duplicated. But my main question is about the final legs which seem odd to me. STU->DUB is on course 338 deg: DUB->TOLKA is 127 deg and 35nm: TOLKA->EIDW is 302 deg and 31nm. In other words, the flight almost overflies EIDW before turning out to sea then back again. It this how it would be flown in r/l? Gerry Howard
September 7, 200520 yr Hi,i've just checked and find a star to eidw from VATRY on UM17.So the correct route is CPT UL9 STU UM17 VATRY.The final flight plan, convalidated also by eurocontrol, is:(FPL-XXX-IN-A320/M-SRYW/S-EGLL1200-N0454F320 CPT UL9 STU UM17 VATRY-EIDW0043- )The bug is note in BASET duplication but in the fact that the system dosen't have all the sids and stars for all the airports.
