Flightplan Maker

Featured Replies

Hi all! Is there a simple flightplan maker program (freeware) out there that makes flightplanning easy, and produces a simple bgl for the flight? Is there such an animal? Thanks!!Don Moser - Alaska by Don

Thanks for the reply. Sorry! I should have said Freeware. :)Don

Don,You did say freeware and krocav8or's link sends you to the freeware version of FSBuild. It autoroutes your trip and converts to PLN format for FS. You mentioned BGL, but I think you meant PLN.Bruce

OK....I thought I saw payware. Let me go take a peek with both eyes open this time! LOL! I appreciate the help.Don

I am having a problem getting FS navigator/FS9 to match up with the same flight plan. Does any one know a "fast and easy" way to make them generate the same flight plan. Right now I can only have one auto generate it and then edit the other one until they match up, long and painful...any help would be greatly appreciated thanksPhilly

Hi PhillyI am not an expert in this but I believe your problems are due to the fact that fs9's database is quite old and does not contain SIDS and STARS should you want to use them, so what I do is this. I create my flight plans with fsnavigator and use this as the master flight plan. Then use the export function in fsnavigator to export it to fs2004. Then just simply load up the exported flightplan via fs9's flight planner and then both the fsnavigator and fs9's gps system will have the same flight plan because they are the same source.have funJohn Calleja
