airways

Featured Replies

hi!I'm looking for charts where I can find airways (you know, from waypoint to waypoint). The flight I would like to fly is from kjfk to egcc. I use FSBuild, have downloaded the current NATs, too. The only problem is, that my way from the last waypoint of the NAT is direct-to, but I can't believe that in real life the guys also fly direct-to.Can anyone help me?regardsRobert

Hi Robert,If you're looking for IFR charts of the US, I think the best place to go is http://maps.myairplane.com/ (you've to select a chart in the upper-right corner). For other parts of the world (except Canada), it's probably easiest to use these: https://164.214.2.62/dafif/enroutechartscur/All official en-route charts for Europe can also be found here: http://www.ead.eurocontrol.int/publicuser/...ic/pu/login.jsp (registration is free), but because you've to download the charts by country that's not always the fastest way to go.For your flight from KJFK to EGCC the flightplan will most probably end with one of these routes:BABAN UN544 DEVOL UL975 LYNASBURAK UN536 DUB UL975 LYNASDOLIP UN525 SHA UV14 DUB UL975 LYNASCheers,http://home.planet.nl/~duijn181/cu2/koen.jpg

I registered with the EAD site but found it requires me to download a java package and make changes to the settings on my PC before I can access it. I refuse to do this because I can access all other sites with AIP information without this hassle so I shall ignore EAD.Interestingly a Eurocontrol link http://www.eurocontrol.int/ais/links/europe.htmgives links to European websites with no hassle.
