This site was recommended to me in another forum but the question came up as to whether these are REAL flight plans or just ones put together by another simmer and posted for use. Reading their site, it seems to indicate they are the real thing but not sure.Thanks for any info.

Good question.I know that if you go to this site http://flightaware.com/ you will get real flight plans for N.AMERICA.As for other parts of the world i am sure some of the flight plans are real and some are not. Nebojsa

Simroutes is a collaboration of Vatusa ARTCCs on the Vatsim network. Most ARTCCs have submited their preferred FPs, they might not be the ones used in real world however, but are probably pretty close.
