August 16, 200718 yr For those that are interested.....Good news, so far....2 years ago they were on Northwest 757-200s, 1 ago MD-11 / DC-10s, now.. even thou it's pre-season its the 747-200. (GRB -> PIT & back with a massive T-STORM delay by 5 hours) Yeah, Yeah, I know maybe the're using the "old birds" before phase-out, but.... There's nothing better than seeing BIG birds flying into places that are only minimally possible. At least I can recreate a flight that IS realistic now in a big aluminum, pressurized tube into my home field... If anyone would like to track the team flight they are:flt NW9822 - deadhead shuttle from MSP -> GRBflt NW9962 - GRB -> ???? the next team to loseflt NW9963 - ???? From the losing team -> GRB ( complimentary cocktails provided. )flt NW9823 - deadhead shuttle from GRB -> MSPThese flights have been tracked for the past 3 years. All the info for these flightplans can be found at http://flightaware.com/Be aware thou.... If you follow another team that is coming up to "the" house, their destination before the game will be ATW in most cases. ( The visiting team stays in Appleton, WI before the game ) Departure is always from GRB. I can almost bet if any "big bird" leaves ATW for ( shuttle, super light on fuel ) GRB they willnot bring up the carriage or flaps, especially if they're coming in on 36 or 06. ( most cases ).... Try it once. Gotta love football..Good luck to all others.Regards,RomanKGRB FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
