WXRE Rocks

Featured Replies

WX reports scattered cloud at 500ft AGL & overcast at 2000ft AGL.You take off, and pass some clouds, suddenly the sky becomes very grey and the visibility starts to reduce. Within minutes you are faced with a dilemna:Maintain Marginal VFR flight below the Cloud Base.Climb Through the Cloud & Fly VFR on Top.Do an Immediate Return to yor departue Airport.Fly IMC.And all this without the default FS "Blue Band" that is normally associated with Overcast conditions.Above is just an example of what to expect from ActiveSky WXRE.TAF processing is another really good feature, especially as some WX stations report less often at different times of the day.TAF Processing allows WXRE to interpolate what the conditions should be based on the Previous Metar Report and any variations expected within the TAF.MarkActive SKY WXRE Beta Tester

I've had that with FSMeteo for over a year, but can't wait to try your product out.

Lando,I "used" to be an FSMETEO user.I lost my files in a HDD crash, not long after the latest version came out, and as my time limit for free upgrades had expired I decided to give Activesky 1.5 a go.After using the upgraded ActiveSky WXRE for the past couple of weeks, I can say that this surpassess anything previously seen in FS with regards to weather. Also it will get much better over the next few months as Damian brings new features online with it.Mark
