Could anyone please confirm to which folder should wx export path (inside wxRe Options menu) point to? Should be something like: C:Microsoft GamesFs2002modulesFSflightmaxThanks!Edmundo--------------------------http://pwp.netcabo.pt/ega

Hi, I suggest pointing it to default activesky folder.. see the readme.txt for info on this (how you need to set FSFlightmax to this folder). I've got my export path in wxRE set to the default location:G:Program FilesActiveSky wxREI've also got my FSFlightmax.ini FSMeteo line set to G:Program FilesActiveSky wxREWhenever I hit refresh, it tells me it's downloading cycle files for FSFlightmax, I get two files in the ActiveSky wxRE folder, but they're both 0bits, and I get the error message "error writing to export path-please check export path settings" No matter what I put in the export path line, I get this error. I've got the two set up on my laptop, no problem, but on my main computer it won't work. Can't use the laptop, it's got a vis problem. Am I doing anything wrong?Lobaeux

Lobaeux,Here's a copy of the FSMeteo section of my FSFlightMax.ini file:(FSMeteo)FSMeteoActive=1;//FSMeteoDirectory=F:FS MeteoFSMeteoDirectory=F:ActiveSky wxREAs you will notice I have two lines for FSMeteoDirectory so I can use FSFlightMax with either weather program but in this instance I have deactivated FS Meteo by putting a semicolon at the beginning of the line.Make sure you have changed the FSMeteoActive line to "1"; by default it is set at 0 which means its inactive.Other than that it seems that you have FSFlightMax set up correctly; you've confirmed the export path is to the default ActiveSky directory.

Yes, got that. The problem I HAD was when I refresh wxRE, I'd get an error message saying check the export path. Real frustrating, so I went back to FSMeteo, changing the lines in the flightmax.iniI guess ActiveSky wxRE got a little upset at this though. I flew a flight from Dublin to Bristol, with FSMeteo. Weather looked good, but it wasn't quite up to wxRE specs. I checked out flightmax, HOLY COW!, there's returns on my flightmax radar. Finished the flight, tried another one, around Seattle, with wxRE, and all of a sudden it started working. Can't explain this one, I really didn't do anything different. Now I'm on a flight from Orange County to Sacramento, no weather, but at least when wxRE refreshes I don't get an error message. Thanks,Lobaeux
