December 20, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi,Anyone else have a problem like this?It almost goes without saying, real-time weather processing depends on real-time simulation. Using time accelleration has NOT been tested nor is ASwxRE designed for it. Thanks!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 20, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi, it just occured to me that your baro and wind smoothing may not be enabled in FSUIPC and thus the problems you are encountering? Just a thought..-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 20, 200223 yr Did you turn pitot heat ON? It's cold out there, if the tube freeze you'll experience what is happening...---All the BestKaty Pluta
December 20, 200223 yr As you pause for long periods of time wxRE is still working. A new set of weather conditions may have been loaded.
December 21, 200223 yr Damian,I have tested wxRE with time accelleration with nil negative results. The tests were carried out with all types of weather, speeds of 4x/8x/16x were used. Tests were done throughout the USA, Europe and Australia, through multiple reporting stations. wxRE performed with out error.I have also completed the same tests with pausing the whole operation, for varying periods of time, again with out fault from wxRE.The tests were carried out about 2 weeks ago, over a 3 day period.I will continue some more to see if I can replicate the current problem.regards,David
December 21, 200223 yr Dieter,Are you using FSRealTime for your UTC time or just using the FS system time setting within FS itself?David

December 21, 200223 yr Commercial Member Aha!That might be what is happening! Aircraft getting slower and finally stalling.. yep, I'd almost bet on it! :)-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
