December 20, 200223 yr Author Hi,Downloading ActiveSky 1.5 I get an idea how is wxRE ? Or it is much better ?Thanks,Ulisses
December 21, 200223 yr ActiveSky 1.5 will indeed give you a feel for wxRE but ActiveSky is far less advanced. Visit the web site you will learn lots more...
December 21, 200223 yr Author I installed ActiveSky and it looks good, my big problem: when the weather is updated I get some stutter in FS2002. Is it happening in wxRE as well ?Another thing, I can't get winds to my area (Brazil), I get this message (no problems in fs_meteo):US FD winds aloft disabled or beyond rangeThanks,Ulisses
December 21, 200223 yr Commercial Member Hi this is probabably not stuttering, but you are noticing the TEXT message box pause a little which is normal.. in wxRE we smooth the text scroll a little so you don't notice as much. You can DISABLE TEXT MESSAGES and confirm that there is no stuttering. Also make sure you have the latest FSUIPC version.. December 22, 200223 yr Author Hi Damian,Without text messages it looks better, thanks.About the winds aloft, is it only available in US ? Here in Brazil ActiveSky doesn't download the winds....could it use the same database/source of fs_meteo ?Thanks again,Ulisses
