February 18, 200323 yr Hi,I'm (or was) a fs_meteo user, I just moved to activesky wxre and I'm quite impressed with the results.I have some questions:1- I can see some hard edges in clouds when I'm on ground, like if the cloud is being drawed line by line, any idea ?2- Activesky sends turbulence info to fsuipc ? how it is handled ??3- When requesting wx briefing I get a long winds aloft list and if I print I get 4 pages of wind aloft, is there a way to turn the wind aloft off for printing ???Thanks a lot,Ulisses Simionato
February 18, 200323 yr Commercial Member Hi there,1) This is a known FS2002 issue not related to wxRE. You can improve things by extending your maximum visibility option in FS2002.2) Turbulence data is computed based on surface conditions and is sent to FS2002 via FSUIPC. This is for wind turbulence, not cloud turbulence. Cloud turbulence is available via "add random turbulence to clouds" options in FSUIPC.3) I am working on an improved flight planner with better winds aloft reporting control.... For now you can print before the winds aloft download completes and winds will be omitted.Hope that helps!-Damian

Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation SoftwareDeveloper of ActiveSkyThe next-generation weather environment simulation for FS2002!http://hifi.avsim.net/activeskyhttp://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/images/wxrebeta.jpg]
[/table://http://hifi.avsim.net/activesky/ima...]
[/table Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
