Downloading Offline Weather

Featured Replies

Hi there,I'm new to this add-on, but I can't seem to get the download to complete. It downloads metar, and taf ok, then goes onto fd winds. A few seconds later i get download error or timeout. I've not yet been able to complete a successful download.I've tried reinstalling (even to a different pc with a different isp). I've had a search on other messages and note that there are issues with winds aloft, so forgive me if i've missed something !ThanksCarl

Hi Carl,Sorry you are having trouble so far. Under Options try: un-check VATSIM METARs. When you get a chance, try this and post your results.Edit: Is AOL involved on either of these computers?Hope this helps,Jim

Strange but I tried this again last night and it worked. BTW i'm not using aol.ThanksCarl

I haven't been able to download winds aloft for months.METARS & TAFS come through no problem, but forget winds aloft. In fact it's the only thing I can't download with my broadband connection.
