Metar Decoder into ActiveSky window

Featured Replies

Hi Damian! Finally I bought your great program!I hope to test it during this week.Tonight I run a quickly tour into it to see how it worksI see (but I don't know if my mistake or not) there is no metar decoder in the program, like in FSMeteo (i have FSMeteo too).Ok... I know the metar code so for me no problem ;-)but I like to know if there is the possibility to see a sort of "decode-window" (for example in the wxbriefing window).I try also the Flightwatch in FS2002 using the 122.00 on COM1It's great!!! eh,eh,eh :-jumpyMany thanks Damian!Best regards,Max.------------------------------- Flight - Sky - Freedom-------------------------------..and sorry for my bad English

Hi Max,We are working on that for future versions. In 1.7, what we have is a more realistic representation though. Just as in real life, you don't get a text decoder in the aircraft. But you have voice weather info via flighwatch or ATIS which is spoken decoded in plain english. Lots of work went into this for as much realism as possible, and was the preferred feature vs. unrealistic text decoding when the beta team and other users were asked.
