  1. Hi guys! Honestly it seems absurd that today, despite years of development, they have not yet been able to create more realistic texture, and all the images that are shown both on REX and HIFi Sim websites concern only certain types of clouds. So, why they are not able to increase the quality of all types of clouds? These shots are very unrealistic... someone should watch the sky sometimes :-) Bye, Max
  2. Hi guys! What about the g-sync feature ? Is it a good idea to buy an ultra wide monitor with this feature or not, for P3D ? Thanks for any advice! Regards, Max
  3. Hi Kyle, first of all thanks for your understanding. My post as I had written would not be a controversy but only a kind of opinion made by a customer that has fulfilled your commercial choices, believed in you and in your products, and then decided to buy, making some economic efforts, the 777 by March 7th, as you wrote as last date to take advantage of the offer. Personally I cannot afford to spend twice for an add-on for P3D, but this is just my "personal problem". As a company you have your trade policy that I do not discuss, rather than will be the potential customers to determine whether it is correct or not. What I wanted was just to emphasize the fact that I could not find quite correct that you have extended the offer for another month, without even making an announcement. I hope that for the 737 you will not do the same, unless you advise. Sure it was a good thing for new customers, but for those who have respected your decision and moved in time, this choice is not totally correct, especially considering the fact that you have written a lot of words on your pricing policy on this forum, facebook, etc ... saying not to argue and to take advantage of the offer and then? I'm just saying that this thing can make you lose a little credibility, that's all. Sorry for my bad English but I hope I have explained my point of view. However someone will say that I could shut up because nothing changes to me. I bought the 777 on offer so there is no point arguing. But for the respect I have towards you, I wanted you to notice this thing. I know it's a perfect business move, but I'm talking outside the business world I have always appreciated the seriousness you have to sell products always at the same price, no discounts in certain situations. I consider it a sign of fairness. So in any case, keep it up and I'm sorry for having wasted your time. I'm and probably I'll be a proud PMDG customer ! Thanks for all! Regards, Massimo Solimbergo
  4. As a customer who believe in you and in what you write on your website, I want to thank you to have deleted my last polite post about the extended price offer of the 777.... Now I think you are even more serious and consistent. Thanks. And yes... delete this post too... Regards, Massimo Solimbergo
  5. Hi guys, first of all I know this post might give rise to controversy, but it is not my intention. I would like to understand why you have extended the date for the discount on the 777. Although it is a good thing for many people, I think it's not serious towards those who, like me, did maybe waivers to buy your product within March 7th, and now it turns out that he could manage his budget in a different way. I know this thing make you laugh a lot, but from a company that wrote long post explaining their trade policy, I did not expect this. I repeat, it is good on one side but not serious especially because it's not pre-announced - well I've read nothing about it  Or probably you have seen that too many people in the end have not bought the product, and they probably will not buy at $135... Well I don't know but this is only my humble opinion. Anyway thanks for your great products! I've bought the 777 and I will buy the 737NGX both for P3D, and at this point I'd like to know if the 737 offer will be extended as well  Regards, Massimo Solimbergo
  6. Thanks Kyle, I've usually taken an image of my pc, so if I need to reinstall I use it. In this case I don't need to deactivate I suppose. Sometimes the only method to clean any issues on a pc is to completely format/reinstall all the system. I don't talk only of FSX or P3D issues ;-) Regards, Massimo Solimbergo
  7. Great! Thanks a lot! Regards, Massimo Solimbergo
  8. Hi ! I'd like to buy both the 737 and 777 for P3D. How many times I can install/uninstall the products on the same pc? In other words if I need to format my computer, what is the correct procedure? I have other add-ons and I need to deactivate them and then I can reactivate without problem. How the PMDG products work in this sense ? Thanks a lot! Regards, Massimo Solimbergo
  9. Hi guys! I'd like to buy the 777 but I want to know, honestly, if the problem of VAS exists and makes impossible to do a flight of a few hours. The idea of having to minimize the various settings of the simulator - now regulated to a medium quality - to use this aircraft really do not like. Now with the Aerosoft Airbus and ASN (no REX) my VAS stays around 2GB. Because the 777 is not refundable I'm a little apprehensive about spending $90 and then find myself with a product unusable with my system :( Thanks for your help! Regards, Massimo Solimbergo (future NGX for P3D pilot and probably 777 )
  10. Hi AJ! I totally agree with you! I'm searching the web for VA which permits the use of time compression and I find this post  I'm part of two VA in Europe and no one permits time compression. I agree that realism is important but there's nothing real in leaving your plane flying alone while you are sleeping!!!! In the real world, pilots go to sleep, this is true, but there are other pilots who take their seats! The plane doesn't fly alone! So, please, don't talk about realism when you fly 16 hours without staying in front of your pc! It's more real, use time compression, flying an 8 hours trip in half time but in front of your pc as pilot flying, in my humble opinion  Anyway, What VA permits time compression ? Thanks! Bye, Max
  11. Same here guys! I've spent a month of testing Windows 8 and FSX and unfortunately too many problems! My main home PC is for FSX and with Windows 8 it's quite impossible to fly without issues, ctd and so on... and honestly my fsx seems to have bad performance vs the same pc with Windows 7, so after days of installations this weekend I reinstall my Windows 7 system. At the end what are the differences between Windows 7 and Windows 8 for FSX? Bye, Max
  12. Thanks guys!Yesterday I checked the APU and you're right, it works with all fuel pumps OFF.I'll check with FS2Crew as soon as possible but at this point I suppose I did something wrong during the shutdown checklist :( Bye, Max
  13. Hi Scott. Thanks for your reply.... I'm studying the 767 so I still have much to learnI watched the AOA DVD for 767 and it says that the APU drops fuel from the left afterward fuel tank so the corresponding pump should be on.Anyway I notice that when I cutoff the fuel switches on the pedestal, FO starts the shutdown checklist, turns the APU ON but as soon as he turns off the fuel pumps, all the systems go off like when you haven't electrical power.I'll try again this evening ....Thanks.Bye, Max
  14. Hi!First of all I'd like to say that FS2Crew has changed the way I fly with FSX!I decide to buy the Level-D Voice and I discover a new world ;-)I notice that when I turn off both FUEL VALVES, First Officer starts the shutdown checklist. But in this checklist he turns off also all fuel pumps and so the APU goes off! In this way if I don't connect the external power the 767 "die" :( I don't know if this is a real procedure but First Officer should ask if I want to turn the APU OFF and if "yes", he turns off all fuel pumps. It should be great also if he could contact the ground for external power and external air. Thanks!Regards, Max
  15. Hi guys!Just to know: what about GTX470 or 480 versus ATI 5870 ?Some years ago I used Nvidia with FS but after issues with their driver (I don't like that I have to use Nhancer) I decide to go for ATI and no problem! Now I'm using an ASUS EAH5870 1GB DDR5 but I'm curious if a GTX480 or 470 can give some more on my FSX :-)What about the driver? I have to use Nhancer again with the latest GTX cards ?Thanks!Bye, Max
