December 23, 200322 yr I am running a P4-2.6 GHz with 1 GB ram and a GeForce4 TI-4200 (128 MB) Nvidia card. Running AS2004 does put a hit on the FPS. What is the best bang for the buck to my hardware that could be upgraded to raise the FPS? Maybe the videocard?? Please give me some educated feedback on this. ThanksSteve
December 23, 200322 yr I'd try posting over in the hardware forum, as they're way more educated than me...That said, I'd say a newer vid card might help. I went from a ti-4200 (64mb) to a ti-4600 128mb and was shocked at the difference. I'd say moving up to a modern card would get you quite an FPS boost until you can afford the 3.2ghz800mhzFSB/2GB DDR ram dream machine. hope that helps some!sg [email protected] | 32gb RAM | EVGA GTX1080 8gb | Mostly P3Dv5 (also IL2:BoX, DCS, XP11)
