December 28, 200322 yr Commercial Member Hi,It appears there are hilly areas here where the gaps in the clouds exist. In otherwords the layers are correct but the ground is protruding through the clouds. I notice you are 12 miles from K3HT FS9 reporting station, which is roughly 4000AGL. That puts the cloud layers at 5200, 6500, and 8000 MSL. Everything looks correct in this example. I see SCT, BKN and OVC at the approximate altitudes as shown, and the mountains protruding through about 9000MSL.Another thing... you are in a global wx zone here, outside an actual wx reporting 2mile zone. Variances out here are normal. To really compare you need to be directly above the reporting point, or at least within 2 miles of it.Hope that helps..-Damian Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 28, 200322 yr I'll try that guys,In my other post before I started this one I was right about KSFO slewed to 15K.
