March 8, 200422 yr Hi Damian,I just purchased Activesky2004 through Simmarket at a discount price for WeatherMaker 2.0 owners. Do I need to install the MR1 update?Thanks,J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
March 8, 200422 yr Hi JJ,you do not need to install the MR1 update, but I advise you to do so, because there are a lot of changes and new enhancements.quote : DamianAll issues found after initial release have been solved, and we have added dozens of new enhancements, features and options! And yes, we have eliminated severe wind shifts and cloud transitions! http://www.hifisim.com/images/as2004betateam.jpgPatrick/EBBR Regards, patrickHiFi Technologies Apha TesterFDC/PFE 3 Beta TesterAivlaSoft EFB Alpha Tester
March 8, 200422 yr Author Thanks Patrick. I understand that the upgrade contains a lot of enhancements. My question was not clear enough: I just wanted to know if the file that I purchased and downloaded today would already contain the upgrade.Anyway, I'll just apply the upgrade on the freshly installed program.J.J.JJ StruyfBraine-L'AlleudBelgiumhttp://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg Jean-Jacques Struyf between EBBR and EBCI
March 8, 200422 yr Hi JJ,The only way to know for sure is start up AS. On the main screen(not the start-up screen), in the lower right corner it will say Build 90 if MR1 is installed.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Support
March 14, 200422 yr there's another way :)If the AS2004 installer is older than 03/03/2004 MR1 is not included in the installation.I purchased today and the original installer is older than the MR1.
