Ok guys, after about 15 hrs. of flying this weekend I have some what pinpointed my arrival weather problems.I get exceptional weather down to about 10000ft. and then I start noticing that I get big changes in pressure and I go through different visiblity layers. It almost seems like AS2004 is using the wrong stations for it's weather. It also seems that it is changing stations and loading the different weather. I say that only because I am getting a small FPS hit. And I have noticed that a bit when weather is being loaded in AS2004 and in FS's own weather.Settings in AS2004 are:WindowPosX = 1725WindowPosY = 1935DefaultWeatherFolder = C:INSTALLDIRModulesActiveSky2004SuppressionCeiling = 2000SurfaceWindLimit = 10CloudLayerLimit = 5LocalSuppressionRange = 100MinimumVisibility = 0MaximumVisibility = 50IncreasedWake = FalseDisableWindsAloft = FalseForceDestinationWeatherZone = TruePreventIcing = TrueOnlineUpdates = TrueExtendedDestinationWindsForce = FalseGlobalWrites = FalseVoicePlayback = TrueLocalSuppression = TrueStartupSound = TrueUseProxyServer = FalseFogLayerGeneration = TrueUpdateSuppression = TrueOvercastEnhancement = TrueRouteWindSmoothing = TrueLimitSurfaceWinds = FalseLimitCloudLayers = TrueAutoGlobalWriteToggle = TrueCCWindsFix = TrueDisableUpperLayerGeneration = FalseVisibilitySmoothing = TrueDisableMessages = TrueAutoTimeZoneDetection = TrueUpdateInterval = 10VATSIMData = FalseZuluConversion = -6TAFProcessing = FalseEnforceVisibilityLimits = TrueWakeTurb = TrueStartPaused = TrueUseSystemTime = TrueDisableCAVOKClouds = FalseProxyAddress = NONE

Hi there,Thanks for that report..I think you are basically flying past different FS9 wx stations with actual different wx and this is causing things to change a bit as you fly through them. This is normal in areas with many reporting points. On an approach to KSFO, for example, you may fly through up to 10 different stations (all with actual provided wx, which OFTEN varies significantly) before you actually get to KSFO wx on short final. If you don't want any wx changes in your approach area you can enable "Force Destination Wx Zone" which will copy all wx data from your dest METAR report to all nearby stations (within 75 miles of dest), preventing any big changes.Does that help?-Damian

Well I do have "Force Destination WX" checked. So I would think that would solve it. But I'm teliing you it does not work quite right. Example, last night into Albany. Metar was reporting 3600 OVC 10SM and 29.77 Through FL180 altimeter was right when ATC told me what it was. But going through these different zones I had as high as 29.94 which just does seem right, especially when I am forcing the destination WX. Now, I did check one station when I was told of a 29.87 altimeter. It's Metar was showing 29.76 which is right on. When I got handed over to tower Albany tower gave me 29.86 but when I landed and checked the ATIS it was 29.77.On This Particular flight I did not have the visibility problems. But I have had that problem. It's a strange deal. Let me know what you think
