Hi DamianI have just experienced repeated (three successive attempts) failure to download and decompress metar data.Yesterday the program did the job flawlessly but today - different story. Is this a problem at your end or mine?I noticed the HDD thrashing mercilessly before the dialogue box was displayed.RegardsAndy b

Hi Andy,Everything looks ok at server end.Suggest manually resetting the active download files, as perhaps some kind of file corruption has taken place. Delete current*.asd and current*.txt in the as2004 folder. Then load As2004 (ignoring error about wx file) and download a new snapshot. Does this help?-Damian
