June 27, 200520 yr Hello All,For some odd reason the Flight1 Meridian's panel views sort of flash when, for example, clicking on a glass gauge to enlarge it. Only happens AFTER ASV is loaded. Never happened with former versions of ActiveSky. I tried reinstalling the Meridian, changing video drivers, etc. Def something to do with ASV latest version. What flashes is a remnant view of a different part of the panel. I am using a GeForce 6800 GT, with prior driver than the current release, which actually is worse. Prob have to go back to 4.5, which is unfortunate!Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. June 27, 200520 yr Hi,Have you tried with Render to Texture in the opposite setting it is now?Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
June 27, 200520 yr I've flown the Meridian about three times with ASV and have not had any problems like that. Render to Texture is off, card is 6600GT, driver is 71.89. Doesn't make sense, but I really don't have any problems in the Meridian. - Chris Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX | Intel Core i9 13900KF | Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB | 64GB DDR5 SDRAM | Corsair H100i Elite 240mm Liquid Cooling | 1TB & 2TB Samsung Gen 4 SSD | 1000 Watt Gold PSU | Windows 11 Pro | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Thrustmaster TCA Captain X Airbus | Asus ROG 38" 4k IPS Monitor (PG38UQ) Asus Maximus VII Hero motherboard | Intel i7 4790k CPU | MSI GTX 970 4 GB video card | Corsair DDR3 2133 32GB SDRAM | Corsair H50 water cooler | Samsung 850 EVO 250GB SSD (2) | EVGA 1000 watt PSU - Retired
June 27, 200520 yr Author Well, the first thing I did was to run FS9, then deselected Render To Texture. Then I started a flight with the Meridian, and the same issue happened. Next, I reselected RTT, and voila, the problem disappears. Definitely seems related to RTT setting, but I haven't as yet restarted FS9 to see if this was a permanent fix, or at least a work around (on a run by run basis) for this anomaly. Thanks for the rapid responses.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync.
