July 10, 200520 yr Hi JimIn the days of AS2004 there was an issue that arose where cloud patterns were in square with cumulus fluffy borders. This is occurring with ASV. Any chances of it being resolved?Andy b Andy Brockbank
July 10, 200520 yr I also have this, but I have assumed that it is some changes that I have made. I have been attempting to improve my performance, and made some changes to my driver settings, and the square clouds appeared after this. It could just be coincidence though.Steve
July 10, 200520 yr Author I think it is still a Metar isue.I have flown on and the clouds are now nicely represented. Don't know if they are correct cos I'm in Australia and am currently 160nm east of New Delhi and about to descendAndy b Andy Brockbank
July 10, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Andy,Sometime fs2004 will generate square clouds patterne formation. But not square white box clouds, this is related to settingvideo driver issue or the "fake overcast" used from 3d party files make white box from the upper sky)ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg Kind RegardsChris Willis
July 10, 200520 yr Hi Andy,Also remember that some of those patterns were caused by certain cloud textures. I have not seen the "checkboard effect" in a long time.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
