Thanks Jim,I'll keep on trying other sets amd see what happens.ThanksDom

Under Options>Settings>Visibility, uncheck the box for "Fog layer generation". It "Creates a low overcast stratus layer when low visibilty exist and no clouds are reported". This appears to be what is happening in the pic.Personally, I don't like the effect and have this disabled.One thing I really like about ASV is the many options and the ability to configure it as you wish. :)
