July 27, 200520 yr Hi Dom,It's the general FS04 effect when the clouds touch the mountains. You may want to try some smoother, softer clouds. Chris will know more!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
July 30, 200520 yr Under Options>Settings>Visibility, uncheck the box for "Fog layer generation". It "Creates a low overcast stratus layer when low visibilty exist and no clouds are reported". This appears to be what is happening in the pic.Personally, I don't like the effect and have this disabled. One thing I really like about ASV is the many options and the ability to configure it as you wish. :)
