August 20, 200520 yr I hope someone can help. I was very pleased with 4.5 but after upgrading I constantly get a frozen FS9 and a blue screen indicating stuck in a loop caused by nv4_dsp.dll. It only happens when ActiveSky is running. My system:Dell Dimension 83001 gig ramP4 3.2 ghz WinXP SP2Evga GeForce 6800 UltraForceware XG 80.40 driversDell 21" Flat Panel running 1600x1200Soundblaster LiveDrive 5.1 I run my desktop at 1280x960 but FS9 at 1600x1200 full screen.. I have the latest bios ang have tried at least 20 different video drivers in the past 2 months.ActiveSky is Build 314 running 256x256 clouds and did a mips conversion. (btw, my framerates dip as low as 5-6 in lots of clouds but was much, much better with AS4.5)I almost always fly a Dreamfleet A36 and for visual flight with mostly clear conditions, the display sliders are almost all maxxed except for traffic(10) and water (0). No glare, flare or speciel effects.I'm getting to the point where I don't use ActiveSky very much because I know at a certain point it will lock up. Then I spend hours trying more to correct it and finally give up. Attached is a shot of the AS options.Michael

August 21, 200520 yr Hi>I run my desktop at 1280x960 but FS9 at 1600x1200 full screenThis is known to cause fs lockups, it did with me. It is recommended to have the desktop and fs running at the same resolution.Have you tried changing your fs resolution to your desktop resolution.? running FS in window mode at 1280x960?Just my 2 cents worth.Hope this helpsTony
