September 14, 200520 yr Anyway of getting an option that can allow a certain visibility at or over a certain altitude to be changed, example below 10 000 30 miles limit and over 10 001 ft 59 mi visibility?Hope it makes sense!!

September 14, 200520 yr Author This issue has been bugging me about fsuipc saving the day if its registered, I don't have it registered and I won't ever so any chance ASV (since its my weather add on), will it ever get this option?
September 14, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Joe,We've never had a request for such a feature within AS itself (the internal ASV graduation and FSUIPC smoothing integration takes over instead), but we will add this to the list! Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
September 15, 200520 yr >In the pay version of FSUIPC.Is there such feature? I have the registered version, but how can I set a different visibility below and above a certain altitude?I would like to know, thanks.
September 15, 200520 yr Maybe I mis-led! It is possible by sky conditions. A long time since I have seen the full version Tabs.(Since 2.975) Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
September 15, 200520 yr Yes, there is something there about sky conditions but I thought AS did the same?I never understood FSUIPC options for this. Perhaps someone can shine a light on it?Thanks Jim.
September 15, 200520 yr The main options here of note are the ones to enable the visibility to be limited and to provide a visibility that is graduated from a defined surface value up to a maximum at cruising altitudes. Except on FS2004 these are all enabled by default, operating up to 60 miles at 25000 feet. This graduated visibility option can be controlled by the external weather program. In that case the main on/off checkbox is disabled in this Settings page.In FS2004 (only), by default the graduated visibility option starts at the top of the visibility layer and graduates the visibility value from there up to the upper altitude. This is done with a lower altitude for graduated visibility set to 0. There is no equivalent in FS2002 or FS2000. FSUIPC operates in those by providing one very high visibility layer, not a graduated part above the layer, so the lower altitude here needs to be user specified (default 6000 feet), and the surface visibility then stays the same up to that altitude. There are four different maximum values for the surface level visibility. One is for when it
