October 6, 200520 yr >Hello,>I do not use Active Radar.>How do I remove all related data?>Thanks in advance>>Frankly, I'd like to do this myself. AR is the ONLY part of ASV which doesn't work well on MY computer. I'm glad that it does for others but it just hangs my system up. As I fly around, usually VFR, I don't really need it.;D
October 6, 200520 yr I see "ActiveRadar.dll" in the FS2004Modules directory.Perhaps removing the dll removes Active Radar?
October 7, 200520 yr Hi All,Yes, just removing the activeradar.dll will remove Active radar. To reinstall, just move the file back in. DO NOT rename it!! FS04 will still load it, as long as the .dll extension remains!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
October 7, 200520 yr Jim,In the past I renamed it to .BAK, instead of moving it out of the directory. What is wrong with that approach?ThanksGreg Greg Clark
October 7, 200520 yr Hi Greg,That is OK because .bak is different than .dll !! The .dll extension is the key.Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg
