Screen-Stuttering with ASVE

Featured Replies

Hello, since ASVE installed, ervery 2 sec stutters my screen during flying with FS.What could be the reason?Perhabs the Weatherradar? But i did not solved it after disable the radar.dllHow could help me?Thanks,Roland

I've tested it now without starting ASV, but the FS stuttering is going on!I have that bei any type of clouds, by 15-17 fps too. Only without any weather it has stopped.I looked in the FS-Texture-folder and have compared it with the backup, that i've made before installing ASV, where was everything OK. The data files are original the same. Before installing ASV FSUIPC (Vers. 3.5) was alreday installed, could that be the reason? I've only now one fsuipc.dll in the folder fs9/modules and one in fs9/modules/asv.What may ASV leave in FS, althoug i do not start it?

HI Roland,Check your Antialasing and AF from you video cards driver option.Disable AA from Fs 2004 display, only enable with the video cards driver option.ThanksChris WillisHiFi Simulation Software Team Developerhttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hello,virus-Check is OK, Videodrivers OK.I've got now half-transparent Planes in the preview of FS and a crah while loading weather at any flightsituation, stored flights, create new flights and so on (although ASV was inaktiv). So i restored my FS-Backup, and the FS is OK :)Therefore the reason could not be any virus oder hardware-/driver-problems. I suppose the cause by a damaged FSUIPC.dll.But before installing ASV again, i have a question:Before installing ASV i installed FSUIPC.dll in the folder fs9/modules. I also got there a FSUIPC-logfilde-data and a "Key-data".Then, after installing ASV i get another FSUIPC.dll, now in the folder fs9/modules/ASV.Should i delete one of them? Which one? Where i have to move the logfile and key-data (FSUIPC unregistrated yet). Thanks, Roland

Hi JimThis was the post that prompted my posting the multiple FSUIPC.dll question on Pete Dowson's forum. I was really trying to get a handle on multiple dll's as I had read somewhere that they could be a problem in FS. The replies that I received from Pete and yourself were great and I now understand the issues (or should I say, "non-issues") much better. Thanks for your input. We are so lucky with ASVe in that we get the best after sales service bar none. Thanks againPeterH

You wrote: "I really wanted everyone to know that ASV does not install FSUIPC, only provide a copy."Now i understand this 100% too.Because in the ASV-manual on the ASV-Homepage on P.5 i read, "During Installation, ASV will install FSUIPC into FS2004 automatically."Perhabs you might correct this in the manual, thanks for knowing it now better ;)Roland
