I dont know if there is still support for B193, but I'm having some strange wind shifts during approach. I'll be on final at about 4k feet, winds showing about 20-25kts depending on last reading. When I get below 2500ft, the winds shift massively and drop to the reading received when I check the ATIS via the Fetch option. My suppress ceiling is set to 10k, so I'm not sure what's going on. Anyone else having that prob? Also, I'm running registered FSUIPC 3.51.-Rick Schaefer

Hi Rick,This may be related to the other post about winds where there may be something up with FSUIPC. Did this happen with V3.5?Of course there is still support for B193!! We have many users still using that program! Heck, I still get calls for help with wxRE!Please let us know if this happened with V3.5Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hi Jim,I noticed some really radical wind shifts which resulted in changes to airspeed during climbout and cruise after I implemented FSUIPC 3.51. Over on Peter Dawson's support site, he has issued a version 3.511 (test) which may eliminate this problem for ASV users. I just downloaded it, so haven't had a chance to test it out.Dale

Thanks Dale!I saw that in our other thread about this and have not been over to SimFlight yet. I, for one, will not be able to test the new version because I have no problems with 3.5. I will rely on our great users to test things out and continue to report back to us!Hope this helps,JimActiveSky Sales and Supporthttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_dev_team.jpg http://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_proud_supporter.jpg

Hi Jim,Tried a flight from KLBB to KELP using FSUIPC 3.511. I did not experience any radical shift in winds or indicated airspeed. Forecasted winds were 235/45, actual were 245/46. The FSUIPC fix appears to be the answer, at least on my computer. I will also communicate this to Pete Dawson.Dale

3.511 works fine here with dwc turned on. Will try 3.512 next.
