ATIS and AS

Featured Replies

Does AS disable the built in FS ATIS? I have the AS ATIS checked for 122.80 which works fine but the regular ATIS from FS does not work as before. Just checking if this is correct?ThanksBill

I tried that but still cant get FS ATIS. Also tried it on both comm radios and nothing. Only way is to exit AS and restart FS and it comes back ok.Its not a major deal just thought I would mention it, see if any other user has the same experienceThanksBill

Hi,I don't think AS is causing this. You mention you restart FS and it comes back... is your battery dead perhaps or you have your intercom switches in the wrong place?FS ATIS is completely unrelated to AS's ATIS/Flightwatch (122.0). Best,

Battery is fine and it happens no matter the aircraft..The first time it occurred was in the default 737. Had 122 set on comm 1 active and FS ATIS comm 1 stby. When I toggled FS ATIS to active nothing happened. I left it there all the way to arrival and still nothing. I toggled back to 122.00 and AS ATIS came on.And as mentioned when I restarted FS without AS the FS ATIS worked ok.Will try and see if it can be repeated, again as it never happened prior to AS install. Maybe was some glitchThanksBill

Damian,You are correct its not AS. I was connecting to VATSIM and that disables FS ATIS both in SB3 and FSInn. FS ATIS works well with AS when not connected to VATSIMSorry for the trouble and thanks for responding..Bill
